Let us start our lesson saying some prayers and continue to work on memorizing the prayer "O God, guide me."
God loves justice and it is the best beloved of all things in His sight. Justice is a very important spiritual power that our souls need to grow in order to help build unity. This means we respect the rights of every human being, including our own. When we are being just, we see the positive contribution everyone makes and we appreciate our differences. We are very careful to include others in our games and not to speak badly of them when they make mistakes.
Let's use the interactive Word Games Page to learn the meaning of the words in the quote and help with memorizing it.
Memorize Quote Game
“Tread ye the path of justice, for this, verily, is the straight path.”
On pavement write out sections of the quote with at least four different colored chalks. With one color, such as blue in the picture, write sections of the quote out in a straight line.
Different ways to play
One person calls out sections of the quote such as "Tread ye" and the others find it and go and stand on it.
Pick a color from the words written on the pavement. Start from the beginning of the quote and follow the color you picked to the end of the quote.
Find the quote with the same colored chalk that is in a straight line.
Stand on one foot, pick a "Tread ye" and then hop to the next section of the quote until you reach the end of the quote.
Create other ways to play the game.
Place a car tire, or some other low object, on the ground. Then ask the children to see how many of them can stand on it at the same time.
